<p>A simple four wheel drive for a vehicle such as an agricultural or industrial tractor or a fork lift truck which has a separate power take-off shaft (15). The drive to the rear wheels (11, 14, 13) is conventional, but the drive to the front wheels includes a spur gear (18) an idler gear (21) mounted to rotate on an eccentrically bored support shaft (25) through which the power take-off shaft (15) extends, and a gear (22) for driving a forwardly extending shaft (24) underneath the engine.</p> |
