PURPOSE:To lead and guide a cutting machine, by turning a roller along a guide ring so that cut ends at the beginning and the end of a comparatively large caliber pipe by the titled cutting machine are made coincident with each other. CONSTITUTION:As for a guide device, brackets 23 and 24 are installed respectively on the opposite side of a driving shaft 4 and a chain adjusting shaft 12 of a cutting machine where a cutter blade 19 is provided, and a main body 1 of the cutting machine is led to a correct track while a roller 13 is rolling along a guide ring 29. As adjustment according to the size of a pipe is easy and a roller 28 rolls while making ideal rolling contact on a side face of the guide ring, highly accurate guiding can be performed without generating unnecessary resistance. |
