<p>The compass is for Indian ink pens or fine lead holders and has two straight arms. One which is horizontal (20), carries a vertical marking pen (26), movable horizontally in a slide (13) fixed to the other arm which extends vertically and is bent at its ends. At the top is a grip (3) and at the base a point (7) and the fixing is moved horizontally relative to the grip-point axis. It is adjusted in height by a slide (10,11) (14-16) and a threaded adjustable ring carrying the tracing system. The slide can be replaced by a fixing for an Indian ink pen.</p> |
