PURPOSE:To increase storage-heat capacity while improving a rate of heat exchange by attaching an air flow path forming material consisting of fibers or a plastic film or the like to a metallic opening substrate made of a metal with a reticulate or striped opening from both sides. CONSTITUTION:The air flow path forming material 1 consisting of a material formed to a paper sheet shape by paper-making a fibrous blank (such as pulp, asbestos, polyethylene, etc.) covers the metallic substrate (such as iron, aluminum, stainless, etc.) with a plurality of the striped or latticed openings, and shields the opening sections. Materials formed by coating the metallic substrates 2 with the fibrous blanks are laminated through spacers 4. When a moisture impermeable filmy resin is used as the fibrous blank as the air flow path forming material 1, a sensible-heat exchange element can be formed. The efficiency of sensible-heat exchange is improved more than the case of the single sensible- heat exchange element using the resin at that time. Hygroscopic efficiency is improved and a rate of total heat exchange can also be enhanced by impregnating said fibrous blank with a moisture absorbent, such as lithium chloride, an alumina sol., etc. |
