<p>A solid fuel burner has a cylindrical burner chamber 1 rotated in use about its axis which is inclined to the horizontal. Fuel is fed from its lower end, and air to support combustion is forced in through apertured sides. Waste products, especially clinker, are automatically discharged from an open mouth at the upper end of the burner chamber, this being a natural consequence of the rotation of the chamber. <IMAGE></p> |
