PREPARATION OF MIXTURE FROM AROMATIC HYDROCARBON

PURPOSE:To obtain a mixture of aromatic hydrocarbons in high selectivity, by bringing a synthetic gas into contact with a mixed catalyst of a metal (compound) having the catalyst activity of hydrogenating carbon monoxide with a specific crystalline silicate under specified conditions. CONSTITUTION:A synthetic gas is broguht into contact with a mixed catalyst of (A) a metal (compound) having the catalyst activity of hydrogenating carbon monoxide, e.g. copper, with (B) a crystalline silicate having the chemical composition of the formula (R is one or more mono- or bivalent cation; n is the valence of R; M is one or more trivalent transition metallic ions or aluminum ions; a+b+c=1; a, b and c are respectively >=0; a+b>0; y>=12) at 200-500 deg.C reaction temperature and <=300atm reaction pressure to give the aimed mixture of the aromatic hydrocarbons by the catalytic hydrogenation reaction of the carbon monoxide.
