PURPOSE:To attain easily the registration of optional characters, by saving and storing a pattern edited and formed once to other memories, and registering a pattern obtained by synthesizing the edited and formed pattern and the saved and stored pattern. CONSTITUTION:A sentence inputted from a keyboard 11 is stored in a text memory 21 constituting a memory 13 and displayed on a CRT14, and the storage content of the text memory 21 is transferred to a sentence storage area 22 with a prescribed key operation and stored, or printed on a printer 15. A character generator 23 for the CRT screen display such as the 1st level Kanji (Chinese characters) and special characters is provided to a prescribed area of an ROM chip, a print character generator 24 for them, and character generators 25, 26 for the display and print of the 2nd level Kanji, are provided to a prescribed area in a floppy disc. Pattern storage areas 27, 28 for registering edited optional characters are also provided to the floppy disc. |
