In a document, e.g. a cheque 10, comprising first and second portions 11, 12 detachably connected together, the second portion is of pressure-sensitive material which marks upon the application of pressure. In the embodiment shown the second portion overlies the cheque stub. The cheque may be incorporated in a wrapper to form a mailer assembly, Fig. 3 (not shown), and a sheet of carbon paper may be placed over the first portion 11 or the inside surface of the wrapper may be carbonised, so that information typed or printed on the wrapper will be transferred to the first portion 11 and pressure transmitted through the wrapper is transferred to the second portion 12 to mark that part. <IMAGE> |
