PURPOSE:To make it possible to set an accelerating condition from starting according to a driver's will, by providing means for computing a depression speed of an accelerator pedal and means for controlling an engaged condition of a clutch according to the depression speed as computed above. CONSTITUTION:A microprocessor 1 computes a depression speed of an accelerator pedal 3 from a depression distance and a depression time of the accelerator pedal 3, and controls an engaged condition of a clutch 8 according to the depression speed as computed above, thereby effecting a quick start or a slow start. In other words, when the depression speed of the accelerator pedal is high, a semi-engaged condition is shortened to effect the quick start, while when the depression speed is low, the semi-engaged condition is elongated to effect the slow start. |
