PURPOSE:To obtain a homogeneous sheet by placing a raw material between two part materials supporting the raw material which are heated at a temp. where melt viscosity of a synthetic resin becomes a specified value and by heating it to a value above a specified pressure. CONSTITUTION:A deflecting raw material consisting of a synthetic resin powder blended with a fibrous filler whose (true vol./apparent vol.) X 100 is higher than 50% is molded into a sheet. As the thermoplastic synthetic resin, polyethylene and polypropylene powders whose average particle diameter is less than about 1mmphi and as the fibrous filler, those prepared of glass, carbon, metal or organic substances and whose fiber lengths are less than 100mm are the objects in this invention. The pressure acting on the contacting surface to support the cotton-like raw material 1 with the supporting part materials is more than 0.01kgf/cm<2>. The heating temp. is set at the temp. where the melt viscosity of the synthetic resin becomes lower than 10<2>-10<5> poises. It is thereby possible to mold the wad-like mixture whose thermal conductivity is very low into a sheet homogeneously and in a short time. This method causes small heat loss and is economical. |
