PURPOSE:To obtain a containing box of an optical fiber cable connecting surplus length, which is capable of connecting another optical fiber cable, by securing the connecting surplus length of an optical fiber cable to other optional part than a fitting part of a containing box. CONSTITUTION:One first containing part 2 is provided on a lower side position of a box body 1, and two second containing parts 3 in total are provided on the left and right of its upper part. A pair of core wire position holding projections 5 for pinching and holding an optical fiber cable 4 are provided to the first containing part 2, and >=2 passing holes 6 of the cable 4 are provided to the side wall face of the containing space. On the other hand, a pair of upper and lower projections having a U-shaped section are placed so that the opening parts are opposed to each other, on the inside of each second containing part 3, and two passing holes 8 of the cable 4 are provided to the side wall face of its containing space. Accordingly, in this way, it is possible to obtain the containing box of the cable connecting surplus length, which is capable of connecting another optical fiber cable. |
