PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure feed method for screening residue for regulating excretion residue flowing down in high concentration temporarily to avoid the blocking of a water pump and capable of simultaneously preventing the malodor of the screening residue, and a pressure feed apparatus for the method. SOLUTION: In this pressure feed apparatus, a dust extractor (3) is arranged to the front stage of a water absorbing tank (4) while a crusher (9) for crushing the screening residue scraped up by the dust extractor (3) into a shape fitted to feed, a hopper (10) for temporarily storing the crushed screening residue and a screening residue forcing pump (11) for extracting the stored screening residue are provided and the screening reside forcing pump (11) is connected to the discharge piping (14) of the water feed pump 10 installed in the water absorbing tank (4) to feed the crushed screening residue to a destination along with the discharged water of the water feed pump (13). The clogging of the water feed pump (13) is prevented and the screening residue can be treated intensively by pump equipment (1) without being fed out to the outside. Since the screening residue is temporarily stored in the hopper (10), this apparatus can correspond to the inflow of a large amount of the screening residue at the initial stage of a rainfall and requires no special deodorizing device.
