PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a horizontal transport apparatus which is easily maintained and enables height of a game machine island to be lowered and forcibly controls a transport stream of game balls to thereby provides improved transport efficiency, and is composed of the reduced number of components advantageous in costs. SOLUTION: The horizontal transport apparatus is provided with a replenishment rail which is installed over a game machine, a transport path which is formed in the lengthwise direction within the replenishment rail, a plurality of rotary disks which are provided side by side on a corridor of the transport path, a plurality of guides which are disposed within the transport path, and a driving device for the rotary disks. The adjacent rotary disks are rotated in a direction opposed to each other to transport game balls which are fed into the transport path, and the transport stream of game balls is controlled by the guides.
