PURPOSE:To improve the operability, by providing a display section under a transparent coordinate input section and switching the content of a display plane. CONSTITUTION:The display section 1 is provided under the transparent coordinate input section 2, and a control section 3 controlling the display section 1 and the coordinate input section 2 is provided. The content of display of the display plane is switched with the operation of a changeover switch. The input operation of character codes is done by depressing the coordinate input section 2 with a finger, and in depressing a position inscribed as ''A'', a corresponding binary code is produced and the input ''A'' is inputted to an external device. In inputting a Kanji (Chinese character), first, a Hiragana (cursive form of Japanese syllabary) fifty-sound table is displayed, and the changeover switch is depressed. Further, the 1st sound of the Kanji desired to be inputted, e.g. (A), the part corresponding to the ''A'' of the coordinate input section is depressed. Since plural corresponding Kanjis are displayed on the display plane, when the position of the corresponding Kanji with a finger, the corresponding binary code is outputted. |
