PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acupuncture needle for acupuncture and moxibustion with an acupuncture needle tube capable of holding the acupuncture needle in the acupuncture needle tube and fixing an acupuncture needle tip in a space inside the acupuncture needle tube without taking time and labor at all after taking it out from a package until performing an operation and without producing the waste of small pieces. SOLUTION: The acupuncture needle for the acupuncture and the moxibustion with the acupuncture needle tube is composed of the acupuncture needle tube 4 on which a cap 10 having a through-hole on an upper surface center part is mounted and the acupuncture needle having an acupuncture needle handle 3. The acupuncture needle handle 3 is provided with a hooking part 8 where at least one projection is present on the periphery, and the diameter of the hole of the cap is formed larger than the diameter of the needle handle 3 but smaller than the maximum diameter of the acupuncture needle handle at a part where the hooking part is present. For the acupuncture needle, a length h<SB>1</SB>from the lower end of the hooking part 8 to a needle tip is formed shorter than the entire length h<SB>2</SB>of the acupuncture needle tube on which the cap is mounted. Also, the acupuncture needle handle is hooked to the hole of the cap at the hooking part 8 in the state of mounting the acupuncture needle in the acupuncture needle tube, and when force in the direction of the acupuncture needle tip is applied to an acupuncture needle handle head part, the hooking part 8 passes through the hole of the cap.
