The apparatus (10) is coupled to a set of printed circuit boards (14) which are electrically powered, in particular, by a bus (20) via a wire (24). The coupling is magnetic. Thus, the marginal test voltage produced by the apparatus (10) is applied to the wire (24) by way of a magnetic coupler (26) in the form of an electrical connector or of a ring (28) fixedly surrounding the wire (24) and comprising a primary (30) receiving the test voltage.
