Process of heating by induction for the polymerisation of mixtures of so-called organometallic powders consisting of at least one thermosetting resin, at least one metallic powder and having the possibility also of comprising, generally in lesser quantity, additives intended to impart particular end-use properties to the finished product, is characterised in that the heating is generated within the body of the mixture to be polymerised simultaneously with a pressing action of the said powder; as a consequence this pressing imparts a good electric conductivity to the organometallic powder.
