PURPOSE:To obtain an mold for automotive which is light in weight and high in design effect, by integrally packing a foamed material in a recessed part of a skin material. CONSTITUTION:A rigid vinyl chloride sheet is heated, is vaccum formed by an ordinary method, and peripheral edge is cut away to produce the skin material 1. Then, a flexible foamed polyurethane is blanked in an elongate form with a rectangular cross-sectional shape, which is impregnated with an unsaturated polyester. The skin material 1 is then palced in a cavity of a heated simple mold, and the flexible polyurethane is placed into the recessed part of the skin material 1 to integrally pack the foamed material 2 in the recessed part of the skin material 1. A double face adhesive tape 3 is adhered to the back side of the automotive mold thus obtained, and the mold is adhered to a side surface of the automobile body. |
