PURPOSE:To reduce the construction cost of a temporary dry dock for building the structure and the processing costs of watertighting and of infiltrating water of the dock by a method wherein an airtight lid is temporarily provided to the floating structure with a hole onto said hole so as to form a buoyancy space, resulting in realizing light draft at the floating structure. CONSTITUTION:The airtight lid 14 is temporarily provided at the upper part of the hole 12 and the space 15 is pressurized. As a result, the draft of L-1 of the floating structure is obtained. Because said draft of L-1 is smaller than the draft of the structure under the condition that only bouoyancy chambers 13 serve as buoyant space, the depth of the dock can be reduced even if the structure is built in a temporary dock and the construction cost and the processing costs of watertighting and of overflowed water of the dock can be reduced in proportion to the reduced depth of the dock. |
