PURPOSE:To make it possible to largely establish the maximum range of the speed ratio with compact size and light weight in such a way that orbiting revolution is applied as input to a planetary gear which engages with a stationary sun gear, and rotation on its axis of said planetary gear is applied as output. CONSTITUTION:When a pedal crank 11 is rotated by stepping on a pedal 12, a disc 14 makes its orbiting revolution by means of a roller 13, resulting in the orbiting revolution of a planetary gear 1 simultaneously with its own rotation caused by means of a stationary sun gear 2. A sprocket 5 on the prime mover side makes orbiting revolution and rotation in the similar way, rotation of the sprocket 5 on the prime mover side is transferred through a chain 6 to a sprocket 7 on the follower side, and an output wheel 9 is rotated together with a connecting shaft 8. |
