PURPOSE:To enhance a printing speed and to reduce noise, by carrying out the up-and-down movements of a printing ribbon and a correcting ribbon and quantitative feeding by every typing to be performed by one drive motor. CONSTITUTION:A signal is sent to a type selecting motor 9 to revolve the combination of spokes 7 and an indicated type 8 is selected. At the same time, a motor 16 is driven to push up a platform 13 while the upper stage position (a) of the printing ribbon 34 in a printing ribbon cassette 11 is coincided with the central part of the type 8 and a signal is sent to a printing hammer mechanism 10 to print printing paper 2. In the next step, the next type is selected by the motor 9 and pushed up so as to position the lower stage position (b) of the ribbon to the central part of the type. In addition, when the correction of printing is carried out, the motor 16 is driven to push up the position (c) of a correcting ribbon 35 to a printing surface through a feed pin 29 and error typing is retyped to peel off carbon. |
