PURPOSE:To facilitate the setting and alteration of display, by presetting the data which forms a display of a key switch on a keyboard with a dot matrix to a memory and at the same time by changing the memory. CONSTITUTION:Display parts 12a-12n corresponding to key switches 11a-11n on a keyboard 10 are formed with dot matrices. For instance, 7 characters are formed by providing a liquid crystal, a fluorescent display tube, an LED, etc. at (5X7) intersections. The data preset to a memory 15 is read out by a CPU14, and a vertical signal is applied from a display driving circuit 18 via a digit signal output circuit 17. At the same time, a timing signal generating circuit 16 is driven to apply a horizontal signal. Thus ''coffee'', ''milk'', etc. are displayed with light emission at the parts 12a-12n. When the display is changed, a key (not shown in the diagram) is operated to rewrite the data of the memory 15. In such a way, the setting and alteration are facilitated for the display. Thus this device is suited to a registered used at a large-scale store. |
