The hose clip consists of an open ring (10) with overlapping ends (11,12), an opening (13) in one end, and a hook (14) in the other end. The ring is manufactured from a hose clip insert material. The ring has edge sections (16), which are beaded outwards relative to its central convex curved section (15). The hook is partially stamped and pressed out of the band material. When closed, the hook does not project further than the beaded edge sections. The closing tool is formed as a pair of pliers, with two jaws, which when closed have an inner surface with a diameter, which corresponds to the outer diameter of the closed clip. |
