PURPOSE:To facilitate disassembling a thrust bearing by taking out the upper shoe separated from the lower base metal from an opening mounted on a bracket. CONSTITUTION:A two-layer thrust bearing shoe 3 which is slided with a runner 2 secured to a rotary shaft 1 and supported on a bracket 4 surrounding the shoe is separated into the upper shoe 3a and the lower base metal 3b in the bracket 4. The separated upper shoe 3a is horizontally moved and taken out to the outside from an opening 4a mounted on the bracket 4 so as to disassemble a thrust bearing. Thus, disassembly can be facilitated by taking out only the upper shoe 3a. |
