PURPOSE:To read the data written in the form of a matrix with a simple constitution, by feeding successively and intermittently the information input cards in the vartical direction by a fixed distance, then scanning each writing position of data groups of plural stages in the puase period of each vertical feed of the cards. CONSTITUTION:The data groups at the front edge of an information input card 1 are set right under a photosensor 5. Thus the light to the 1st photointerrupter is cut. Then a lateral feeding motor 12 for control circuit is turned forward, and a sensor head 6 is shifted laterally to the right from the left. Thus the writing positions of the data groups are scanned by the sensor 5. When the head 6 reaches the right edge, the light to the 4th interrupter is cut. As a result, the control circuit turns the motor 12 backward to shift laterally the head 6 from the right edge to the left side. At the same time, a vertical feeding motor 3 is turned for a fixed period to position the writing position right under the sensor 5 for the 2nd data group counted from the front side of the card 1. |
