PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device that can prevent scattering of powder dust at the termination of a pneumatic transport pipe without using a conventional cyclone type air conditioner in pneumatic transportation of powder and grain such as rice and wheat, and does not cause dew condensation in a supply port of the powder and grain. SOLUTION: In the pneumatic transporting method of powder and grain, liquid or water vapor is added to the powder and grain moving in a pneumatic transport pipe. Specifically, the device comprises the supply port 5 of the powder and grain, the pneumatic transport pipe 1, and an adding device of water or water vapor disposed in the pneumatic transport pipe 1. The former is formed of two fluid nozzles of pressurized air and liquid which is micro particles, the latter is formed of a water vapor jetting nozzle, and they are installed at the back of the supply port 5 of the powder and grain.
