PURPOSE:To cut the belt like material having stickiness without deforming the shape of its cutting section, by cutting the material to be cut with a cutting blade, then parting the cutting blade and the cut material and returning the cutting blade to its original position. CONSTITUTION:After the belt like material 3 of an unvulcanized tire constituting material, etc. which has stickiness and is to be cut is cut with a cutting blade K, the cutting blade K and the cut material 3 are parted, then the cutting blade K is returned to its original position. By this, the relatively narrow and thick belt material which is to be cut and has stickiness like e.g., an unvulcanized sidewall or a filler can be cut surely into a desired shape without deforming the shape of its cutting section. Therefore, the cutting process of the belt like material 3 which has been hitherto a bottleneck in a production line can be automatized and the productivity and the quality of a product can be improved. |
