PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a panel transfer device capable of enhancing the controllability by eliminating any structural dead point of a link mechanism even at any position of a panel transfer motion. SOLUTION: The transfer device has a link mechanism 6 to move a panel holding unit 15 in the panel transfer direction by connecting a first slide block 4 and a second slide block 5 to the panel holding unit 15, and allowing the first slide block 4 and the second slide block 5 to be straight-driven. The link mechanism 6 comprises two first links 7 pivotably attached to the first slide block 4 and a second link pivotably attached to the second slide block 5. The line passing each pivotably attached point of the two arms to the first slide block 4 and/or the line passing through the two arms and each pivotably attached point are inclined with respect to the horizontal plane so as to constantly maintaining a state in which the two arms do not interfere with each other in the attitude from the width direction of the transfer line.
