A granulation method involving polysaccharide gelling agents, e.g., alginic acid, and a metal (especially magnesium) salt, oxide or hydroxide, e.g., magnesium hydroxide, is developed for the stabilization of heat- and/or moisture-sensitive drugs or food supplements such as Efrotomycin, avermectins, milbemycins, mocimycin and other drugs. It has been found that the granules so obtained can be incorporated into various formulations without substantial decomposition. |
