摘要

By comparing myocardial injuries in wild type mice and midkine (MK)-knockout mice after ischemia/reperfusion, the effect and function of MK are confirmed. Namely, it is clarified that the administration of MK can significantly prevent the apoptotic death in cadiomyocytes in both the case of using model mice (in vivo) and the case of using cultured cardiomyocytes (in vitro).
