PURPOSE:Crushed fish meat or a powder thereof is adjusted in water content to a certain level, mixed with mould fungi, yeasts, bacteria, rice bran and wheat bran, then the mixture is subjected to two-stage cultivation at a constant temperature and dried to give a feed of low peroxide value and TBA value. CONSTITUTION:Dried fish, fish waste after oil extraction is crushed, or a fish powder is mixed with water to 30-60wt% water content. In the meantime, mould fungi, yeasts and bacteria are separately cultured to prepare their cell bodies and they are mixed with rice bran and wheat bran, then the resultant mixture is combined with the above fish product. The resultant mixture is aerobically cultured at 80 deg.C under stirring as the first stage, then subjected to the second-stage cultivation at about 40 deg.C under aeration and agitation. The resultant product is dried by passing hot air of 60-80 deg.C through until the water content becomes about 10wt%. |
