PURPOSE:To measure a magnetic field in a spatially narrow part and a high voltage part safely and with high accuracy without being influenced by a measuring position and an external magnetic field, by connecting in series plural detecting parts utilizing a Faraday rotating function of light, and averaging and diluting the cause of an error of a measured value. CONSTITUTION:A laser luminous flux from a light source 7 is made incident through an optical fiber 6, a vibration face of the incident light is rotated by a Faraday rotating function corresponding to a magnetic field by a transmission line 19, etc., and the emitted light is made to correspond to the magnetic field. Also, detecting parts C1, C2- formed by a polarizer, a Faraday rotating element, an analyzer, etc. are connected in series by the fiber 6. By said many detecting parts C1, C2-, the cause of a measurement error is averaged and diluted. According to this constitution, a magnetic field in a spatially narrow part and a high voltage part can be measured safely and with high accuracy without being influenced by a measuring position and an external magnetic field. |
