PURPOSE:To eliminate the useless printing for an electronic calculator provided with a specific printable key capable of printing, by performing the printing of a data not involving a specific mark in a mode excepting a calculation mode. CONSTITUTION:A key input part KB contains a mode switch COM.SW to switch a calculation mode to another mode. The calculation mode in which the normal calculation is carried out is obtained when the switch COM.SW is kept on. While a memo mode is obtained when the COM.SW is turned off. Both a mark + and a numerical data are printed with operation of a + key in a calculation mode. While a character data not involving no undesired mark + can be printed in a memo mode. This facilitate the handling of an electronic calculator. |
