PURPOSE:To obtain a magnetic color toner superior in performances of development, image transfer, fixation, and cleaning, etc., sharp in red, orange, yellow, and sepia colors, and good in heat and light resistance, by adding gamma-Fe2O3, a binder resin, and a colorant soluble in said resin. CONSTITUTION:The prepared toner contains 20-100pts.wt. magnetic material contg. >=60wt% gamma-Fe2O3 based on the total weight of the magnetic material, 100pts.wt. binder resin, and 0.1-30wt% colorant soluble in said resin based on the resin, such as oil-soluble dye, disperse dye, or vat dye. As a result, the obtained magnetic toner is superior in electrophotographic characteristics, and sufficient in copied image density, and can form a sharp color image of red, orange, yellow, or sepia in accordance with a dye added. |
