PURPOSE:To attain the recording and reproduction over a wide band from a DC to a high frequency in a comparatively low tape speed, by FM-recording a low frequency input signal, recording a high frequency signal directly and summing both signals at the reproduction. CONSTITUTION:An addition circuit 18 sums a low band component of (B) obtained from an FM reproducing circuit 14 and a high band component of (C) obtained from a direct reproducing circuit 15 to form a signal close to the input signal and the result is transmitted to a common output line 19. In inputting a signal of a broad band from a DC to 150kHz to an input line 2 of a data recorder, an FM recording and reproducing system records and reproduces a low band component from a DC to 20kHz, and the high band component of 20- 150kHz is recorded and reproduced at a direct recording and reproducing system and summed at the circuit 18. Thus, the recording and reproduction of the broadband signal from the DC to 150kHz are attained easily. |
