PURPOSE:To enable sheathing parts to be easily removed and recovered when they become unnecessary as well as make the water sealing work exact by a simple method in which a resinous powdery granule capable of being swelled gelled by absorption of water, together with a nonaqueous liquid, is injected into the joints of the sheathing parts erected under the ground. CONSTITUTION:A resinous powdery granule 4 capable of being swelled and gelled by absorption of water, together with a nonaqueous liquid, is injected into the joints 7 or their peripheral areas of sheathing part (e.g., steel pipe sheet pile 6) erected under the ground, or they are mixed with soil for packing. In this case, the resinous powdery granule 4 absorbs moisture in the ground to swelled gels to make the joints 7 imprevious to water. On the other hand, when the sheathing becomes unnecessary, an electrolyte aqueous solution of calcium chloride, etc., is injected into the portions where the resinous powdery granule 4 gelled is present to restore the gelled granule 4 to its original resinous powdery granule, whereby permitting the joints to be easily slackened and the sheathing part 6 to be easily removed and recovered. |
