PURPOSE:To generate a digital signal and to obtain a stored picture with high precision, by converting a data into a dot matrix in patterns corresponding to the density of each objective picture element, and setting the pattern of the matrix according to the density of circumferential picture element of the objective picture element. CONSTITUTION:Nine data corresponding to digital picture signals of an original picture are supplid to shift registers 21-23, and those data are read out in parallel and applied to an arithmetic processing unit 24. Then, a specific number of parameters are out of a parameter generator 25 and supplied to the processing unit 24 to perform arithmetic processing according to a determinant, and the resulted dot matrixes di.j.1-di.j.16 are found and supplied to a comparing circuit 26. They are compared by the comparing circuit 26 with reference dot matrixs 0-15 read out of a pattern generator 27 to generate digital signals according to the density of circumferential picture elements of the objective picture element, outputting a stored picture with high precision. |
