According to a process for manufacturing wall-cladding elements, for example tiles for a tiled covering, a carrier part (1) in the form of a tile, which is intended, with the aid of a fixing agent, to be fastened on the surface to be clad, and a relief-type element (3) are manufactured separately from one another. After the entire manufacturing of the carrier part (1) and of the relief-type element (3) in terms of shape, colouring, coating and heat treatment, the relief-type element (3) is connected to the carrier part (1). <IMAGE>
