A plasma display panel is provided to improve aperture ratio, permeability, and discharge efficiency by extending a discharge surface and reducing voltage of sustain discharge. A plasma display panel(200) comprises a fist substrate(210), and a second substrate(220). The first substrate is a transparent substrate. The second substrate is parallel arranged at a predetermined distant from the first substrate. A discharge cell(230) is located between the first substrate and the second substrate. Discharge spaces(231a,231b,232a,232b,233a,233b) are formed in the discharge cell. A barrier rib(240) is located between the first substrate and the second substrate, and divides each discharge spaces. First discharge electrodes(251) and second discharge electrodes(252) are formed in the barrier rib to surround the discharge spaces. The first discharge electrodes and the second discharge electrode make a pair in each discharge cells respectively. A fluorescent layer is formed in the discharge cell.
