PURPOSE:To perform signal interpolation by a 1H (one horizontal scanning period) delay signal and to obtain a stable picture at any time, by clamping a real-time signal from an image pickup device and a 1H-delayed signal as they are or after alternating both signals at every 1H period. CONSTITUTION:A signal from a single-plate color image pickup element 1 is branched into two; one is inputted to a clamping circuit 3 directly and the other is delayed by a 1H delay circuit 2 and inputted to a clamping circuit 4. Those clamping circuits 3 and 4 are put in operation at the same DC clamping level at every horizontal blanking period. The outputs of the clamping circuits 3 and 4 are applied to sample holding circuits 5-8; the circuits 5 and 8 select only a G signal and the circuits 6 and 7 select other signals to output R and B signals through the switching of a switching circuit 9. Then, the signal interpolation is carried out by the 1H delay signal to obtain an invariably stable picture. |
