The system includes a building, pref. at a harbour or terminus, where freight containers, lorries or rail trucks can be parked on their wheels. Extractor conveyors deliver the loose items from the containers, lorries or trucks to distribution stations. Here they are palletised for transport to the final destinations.</p> |
