The invention relates to a distribution system for distilled water, for conducting the distilled water from a storage tank (12) via a pipeline-type distribution system (14) to individual consumer points (19, 24, 31). The pipeline-type distribution system (14) is formed from numerous parts (15-17, 20-22, 25, 27-29, 32, 33) in the manner of strings of pearls. The pipelines (15, 20, 27, 32) running in the longitudinal direction deviate slightly from the horizontal direction and run slightly downwards. The bends located in the pipelines (16, 17 and 21, 22 and 28, 29) are not sharply kinked. The valves (18, 23, 30) for extracting the distilled water from the pipeline (14) are fitted at those points situated substantially at the lowest points of the pipeline (14). This distribution system has the advantage that the quality of the distilled water remains good, and, to be precise, behind each valve (18, 23, 30) as well, even if it has not been opened for a long time. <IMAGE>
