<p>The stabiliser is for a catamaran and is formed by two centre boards (A,B), which are joined together. It has a panel between the two hulls of the vessel. The boards fix to the hull base centres (K,L) and are connected at the centre (D,C). The height of the connection is at the centre of the rear vessel transverse connection, which joins the two hulls. When the vessel moves, a current equal to its speed passes between the hulls and acts on them during rolling and pitching.</p> |
