摘要 <p>The support housing for a rotary bearing on the mechanism for disengaging a vehicle drive clutch is assembled from a pair of components of plastics matls. of which one (2) is made of material (I) having good lubricating properties and the other (6) is of material (II) offering high stiffness. Pref. (II) is of "Nylon-6,6" contg. 20-50% wt. glass fibres. The components (2,6) may be coupled by welding and/or mechanically. Pref. the components are shaped to accommodate a ring (8) of elastic material against which a metal chassis (12) for the static part (22) of the track of the ball race (24) is braced, so that the mobile part (26) of the bearing can be self aligning for contact between the bearing lip (26a) and the clutch plate guide (30). Reduces wt and number of components used compared with a conventional assembly with major components of metal.</p>
