<p>PURPOSE:To conviniently obtain the friction material attached with rubber plasticizer at a fixed rate without using solvent even if fiber string is ununiform, by making the rubber string having a fixed section made from rubber plasticizer adhere to the fiber string impregnated with bonding agent. CONSTITUTION:First, the fiber string composed of asbestos, glass fiber, carbon fiber, etc. is impregnated with bonding agent (suitably phenolic resin ) and second, a rubber string 4 is attached to the fiber string 1 by pressing the rubber string 4 having a fixed section for which rubber plasticizer 3 (for example, synthetic rubber, etc.) is previously extruded from the metal mold 21 having a fixed opening of extrusion molding machine 2 and said fiber string impregnated with bonding agent 1 between a pair of rollers. Then, after making that raw shape material by preforming, the friction material is obtained by molding the raw shape material with hot pressing. Further, the rate of 40-50 parts fiber string, 5-15 parts bonding agent and 7-10 parts rubber plasticizer is preferably used.</p> |
