PURPOSE:To certainly prevent the leakage of a material, by a method wherein an one shaft or a dual shaft screw is arranged in a vent port provided to the kneading part of a continuous dual shaft kneader and a drive means is connected to said screw. CONSTITUTION:A material 4 kneaded by rotors 2, 3 discharges moisture and volatile components contained therein to expel the same into a vent port 5. At the same time, the material 4 itself is extruded into the vent port 4 according to an operating condition but pushed back into a chamber 1 by rotating screws 6, 7 and, therefore, only a gas is taken out through the vent port 5. As mentioned above, not only the gas generated during the kneading of the material is sent into the vent port 5 but the material is sent thereinto but only the gas can be removed by providing a means for pushing back the material 4 into the chamber 1. |
