<p>A container (1) having at least one longitudinal seam (3), in which a deep-drawn membrane lid (5) can be hermetically sealed. The membrane edge (6) is pressed into the set-back portion (4) of the longitudinal seam which is located on the inside of the container. This is effected either by a tool (8) provided with a hook-shaped projection or with a strip-shaped attachment (7, 7') which comes to rest next to the longitudinal seam (3) when it is bent into the interior of the container and thereby presses the membrane edge (6) against the inside of the container wall. <IMAGE></p> |
