<p>The air motor (1) for a dental handpiece has an outlet (2) for the heads and an inlet (3) for the air. In order to lubricate the motor lubricant is introduced into the air inlet. Lubricant is fed by a branch (5) through the motor body into the air passage (3). The branch houses a spring loaded, normally closed ball non-return valve (6-8). Oil is injected into the branch, forcing open the ball non return valve by the pressure of the lubricating device.</p> |
