<p>The radio signal jamming device includes a generator producing a comb spectrum of waves. The generator comprises pulse generators producing a train of pulses, with a frequency corresponding to the separation between the channels of the jamming signals, such as 25 kHz. A pass-band filter allows these signals together with harmonics through to reach a power amplifier producing jamming pulses. An aerial transmits the amplified signal. The width of the pulses of the pulse train is sufficiently small as to ensure that the harmonics of the fundamental frequency are present in the whole band width. The generator provides satisfactory jamming over the required bandwidth an excessive power requirement.</p> |
