When the exchange transmission which can be seized in the incoming direction is free, the exchange call identification means are connected on the one hand via a capacitor and a pulse break contact to the one outgoing wire, and on the other hand via a capacitor and a break contact of a pulse bypass relay to the other speech wire. When the break contacts are in the operating condition, the call identification switching means are disconnected from the speech wires for the whole duration of the transmission of outgoing pulses, including the pulse bypass time and the whole exchange transmission seizure time. <IMAGE>
